Yesterday I was on yet another media course, ‘Using Media in a Business Strategy’. I was asked, at the end of the course, what I thought about it, and when I said “the course was very entertaining…” eyebrows shot up all over the place including the specialist trainer, who spluttered. “Entertaining?”
“Yes, I never fell asleep!” This was actually a big compliment to the trainer, as I went on to explain, the way he presented his material, and engaged all of us during the course of the session was excellent.
Nearly every course I have ever attended, including my MA at University, were sleep inducing. So I learned a lot… I have now found other things that I have no idea about…
The learning continues.
I learned that I should really be using video and audio on my website, so that’s next on the list. I spent most of today dusting off software I haven’t used in years and practicing my video delivery… So tomorrow I’m going to experiment with my webcam… Watch this space…
