Videobooks, audiobooks and extra money for authors

I’ve been busy honing skills using my webcam and software in order, when I read, to be the best I can be. 

I hadn’t thought of it before, but because I was filming, editing, and grading (the best I can) I realised that even short snatches of the readings can be used as promotional material, and they don’t cost you a penny. 

So, another bonus to considering producing VideoBooks… One; you produce an audiobook. Two; you produce a VideoBook at the same time and now, 3; you have promotional material at hand, all of it from one operation! What’s not to like?

For writers who have never considered doing a VideoBook, all you need to do is film yourself on your webcam as you are narrating an audiobook.
