Graduation Day.

When I was studying for my MA (screenplay) at Edinburgh Napier Unversity in 2007/8 I was approached by the director, Bracken Coates, to write a screenplay. Graduation Day was that screenplay.

Bracken then asked me to play the villain, thus was the start of my film-acting career … so this is a short clip from my screenplay and features a scene from a parallel universe. Graduation Day means something other in this universe than we understand it in ours …

Room 14.

Room 14 is an enigmatic film which referenced parallel universes. At the time I saw a lot of story possibilities concerning alternate universes, the bending of space and time, etcetra… All of the stories were SciFi related which meant big budgets. Because I live in Scotland, there is no money to make feature films, so I put them all on the back-burner although they are still in the forefront of my memory …
